Testimonials
I have referred many many eating disordered patients to Sheri for the past 15 years. She has an amazing ability to help them turn their eating behaviors around. Sheri works with my patients who suffer with bulimia, anorexia and compulsive overeating. I trust her gentle way of working with them. One of my patients reported that Sheri helped her with sugar cravings by having her eat protein and it worked!!
Sheri is an AMAZING person and dietitian. I have been seeing her for several months in order to improve my eating, and lower my A1C (blood sugar indicator). Not only is Sheri extremely knowledgeable, and excellent at what she does, she is kind, sensitive, and compassionate. Rather than trying to fit me into a “diet,” she helps me to accomplish my goals while staying true to my needs and lifestyle. For example, I eat out a lot. Rather than telling me not to eat out, Sheri has given me tools to use to help me make that right dietary decisions, even at restaurants. I highly recommend Sheri!
I came to Sheri a very broken gal. I was in so much pain and felt like I was drowning in my food issues. She was able to identify what was going on with me very quickly and got me started on a program that not only had me feeling physically healthy again, but got me out of a very dark place and feeling like a strong person again mentally. A few weeks after starting with Sheri I got into a bad car accident. While I would usually let a big terrible life event like that give me the best excuse ever to lay around and eat mac and cheese, I still felt so strong right after it happened (amid the shock and scariness of the accident and the stress of all the logistics that follow something like that) to still go home and prepare the food on my program and have continued on that way since. I know I have a long way to go with my weight loss, fitness, and general food issues, but I can’t believe how far she has helped me come physically and mentally in just over a month’s time! I can’t recommend her more!
Back in 2013, I was hospitalized with a diverticulitis outbreak. I was suffering from severe abdominal inflammation and a fever of 104 degrees. I was transferred to the ER and was treated with antibiotics and painkillers. I tried to regulate my diet and take the right supplements but ended back at the ER a year later, with another outbreak. By that time, I knew I had to change my diet but went at it the wrong way. I had given up gluten before, but didn’t keep at it. I was eating whole grains and still not losing weight even after joining the gym and cycling 12 miles every other day. I researched online and found Sheri. Upon meeting with her via Skype, she put me on a gluten-free diet, found the right supplements for me, and had me slowly ween off caffeine. I’m not gonna lie, it was hard, but the outcome has been fantastic. About 3 weeks into my gluten-free diet, I met up with her at her office and she muscle-tested me, checked for heavy metals, my thyroid, and took my measurements. She also recommended that I go on a 21 day-cleanse, and about two days after that meeting, I started it. So far, I’ve lost 13 lbs., lost 2 inches from my waist, gave up caffeine (which was surprisingly not as hard as I thought it would be) and am continuing on this road to recovery. I’ve never felt so good in my life. I have more energy, my food and health choices are top priority and I wouldn’t dream of ever going back to eating anything that would damage my body. The road wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. Thanks to Sheri for giving me the tools to navigate my life back on track.
Syd suffered painful bouts of diverticulitis which would land him in the hospital several times a year, sometimes up to a week at a time. During one of these hospitalizations, he had the good fortune of meeting Sheri Weitz, R.D. We were initially a little skeptical of Nutrition Response Testing (“NRT”), but since becoming Sheri’s client, Syd has not been hospitalized for nearly two years. Sheri combines a holistic approach to healing with conventional nutritional research and data. We are truly grateful for the health and healing that Sheri has provided to our lives. If traditional medicine has left you with unresolved medical issues, we highly recommend Sheri Weitz and Nutrition Response Testing
After being diagnosed with recurrent bouts of “C-Diff” (“Clostridium Difficile”) I consulted with Sheri Weitz due to my GI tract being out of whack from the lingering effects of the infection. After following Sheri’s nutritional advise, my system returned to normal within one week! Not to mention, it was restored to a state that was better than before I ever had the C-Diff!
Sheri has many years of experience both in hospitals and private practice and I love her diverse blend of conventional and holistic knowledge about nutrition and health. I recommend her to all of my friends and family!
